Bob Hope biography Bob Hope (Leslie Townes Hope) was born May 29, 1903. He was a British-born American actor and entertainer. Bob Hope made his film debut in 1938 after a few years of theater work and had his breakthrough with The Cat and the Canary (1939). Bob Hope became an audience favorite with the seven so-called Road films (1940-62), recorded with Bing Crosby and Dorothy Lamour (1914-96). His witty film characters are girly and intelligent, full of sharp lines, but eternal cowards. His career culminated in The Paleface (1948); since then, his films have worsened. He maintained his popularity through frequent appearances on television and, for example, as a conference speaker at, among other things, The Oscars. Albert Omstead biography Albert Omstead passed away on July 19, 2021, after an accident in his home. Albert's death was shocking and tragic. Albert returned home and started fixing a leak near his garage. His brother-in-law Scott Wachtel said that is when a retaining wall suddenly collapsed, trapping him beneath the debris.
