Adam Sandler was born on September 9, 1966.
Adam Sandler became known in 1991-95 as part of the comedy team in the television program Saturday Night Live and had his first film success with The Wedding Singer (1998).
Since then, he has played frustrated, immature men in, e.g., Big Daddy (1999), Anger Management (2003), and Click (2006).
However, he has also shown a talent for more complex roles in Paul Thomas Anderson's (b. June 26, 1970) Punch-Drunk Love (2002) and Spanglish (2004).
Adam Sandler has co-written for films he has appeared in, including The Waterboy (1998) and You Don't Mess with the Zohan (2008), and has also written several songs.
