Jeremy Renner biography


Jeremy Renner (Jeremy Lee Renner) was born on January 7, 1971, in Modesto, California, USA.

He had a happy but changeable childhood with four siblings and studied computer science, criminology and psychology before finding his metier-acting education.

Renner moved to Los Angeles, where he got a small role in the movie 'Senior Trip' (1995). His first blockbuster was S.W.A.T. opposite, Colin Farrell.

The American critics noticed his talent in the independent film 'Take' (2007) and in the western drama The Murder of Jesse James by the coward Robert Ford.

The breakthrough came in the Oscar-winning The Hurt Locker, where he plays an American soldier in the Iraq war. He was nominated for an Oscar for the role, and with roles in Ben Affleck's The Town and in the superhero film Thor, Jeremy Renner is on his way to the top in Hollywood.

He also stars in The Avengers franchise as superhero Hawkeye.
