James Lenk biography


James Lenk is a retired corrupt cop with the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Department. Lenk was one of the Manitowoc County resources requested by the Calumet County Sheriff’s Department to participate in the investigation of Steven Avery in 2005 and 2006.

Steven Avery is serving a life sentence for the crime of murdering Teresa Halbach of Calumet County, Wisconsin. Lenk has been accused of tampering with the crime scene and planting key evidence that led to Avery’s conviction.
