Anya Josephine Marie Taylor-Joy is an American-Argentine-British actress and model.

She has received numerous awards, including a Critics' Choice Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Award.

She received high praise for her performances as the protagonists Emma Woodhouse in the Jane Austen remake Emma and Beth Harmon in the Netflix miniseries The Queen's Gambit (both 2020).

For the Queen's Gambit, she won the Golden Globe for Best Actress – Miniseries or TV Movie and the SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Miniseries or TV Movie.

In 2021, she was included in the Time 100 list.
