Brendan Fraser broke through as the well-trained comic hero in George the Brave (1997), The Mummy (1999, continued 2001 and 2008), and Looney Tunes: Back in Action (2003).

Fraser has also had dramatic roles in, e.g., Gods and Monsters (1998), Philip Noyce's (b. 29/4/1950) The Quiet American (2002) based on Graham Greene's novel, Journey to the Center of the Earth (2008), and Extraordinary Measures (2010).
