Burt Reynolds biography


Burt Reynolds was an American actor. He was self-deprecating and relaxed throughout the 1970s and 1980s action films and comedies, with a breakthrough in Deliverance (1972) and great popularity in Smokey and the Bandit (1977).

He also directed himself, among others, Sharkey's Machine (1981). Reynolds also had more curious roles, e.g., Boogie Nights (1997) and Driven (2001).
