Chevy Chase biography


Chevy Chase (Cornelius Crane Chase) was born in Lower Manhattan, New York City, New York, USA, on October 8, 1943.

He is an American actor. His career began on TV, including in the series Saturday Night Live, in which he appeared intermittently from 1975-2007.

He then had several farce roles and became particularly popular as the grumpy head of the Griswold family in National Lampoon's Vacation (1983) and several sequels.

In addition, Chevy Chase has, among other things, played a detective in Fletch (1985) and parodied the western genre in Three Amigos! (1986) and resumed his TV career, i.a., Family Guy (2007-2009) and Community (2009-2011).
