Joaquin Phoenix (Joaquin Rafael Phoenix) was born October 28, 1974 , Río Piedras, Puerto Rico.

He is an American actor, film producer, and director.

In 2006, he was nominated for an Oscar and won a Golden Globe for his starring role as Johnny Cash in Walk the Line.

In 2019, he received critical acclaim in the role of the Joker from the DC universe in the movie Joker.
