Model Rebecca Romijn

Rebecca Romijn biography

Rebecca Romijn was born on November 6, 1972, in Berkeley, California, USA.

Once a college student born to hippie parents, Rebecca's fashion sense went no further than her Birkenstock sandals. Now the only Birks she wears are on her fingers, earlobes, and neckline.

In 1995, Rebecca attended UC Santa Cruz and studied music. She signed up with a San Francisco modeling agency to help pay the bills. She transitioned from college student to glamorous runway model in two months and almost instantly.

Rebecca didn't necessarily want to pursue a modeling career and took time off from her studies to work as a full-time model. In no time, she already had contracts with major league fashion houses such as Christian Dior and Escada.

In 1996, she became one of the beautiful women who graced the pages of the much-loved Victoria's Secret catalogs. She also became the fantasy girl in Miller Light's advertising campaign and can also be seen showing off her milk mustache in a Got Milk? Ad campaign, one that also features model Tyra Banks and Friends stars Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow wearing a milk mustache.

She was featured in People magazine's "50 Most Beautiful People" of 1997, which claimed that her addition to the 50 Most Beautiful was not because of her looks, but because of her sense of humor about his body and profession.

Rebecca was also featured in the 1996 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition and has become a fixture in the magazine.

In 1999, she graced the magazine's cover with a painted-on bathing suit. As for Rebecca Romijn's acting career, she has appeared in popular sitcoms such as Friends and Just Shoot Me.

She has also hosted MTV's House of Style and sometimes shares co-hosting duties with model James King. She was no stranger to hosting a TV show; she was an interim host of NBC's late-night show, Later.
