Tupac biography

Tupac was born on June 16, 1971, in Brooklyn, NY; his mother, Afeni Shakur, a member of The Black Panther Party, was in prison for helping to bomb several public places in New York City.

Tupac was named after a chief named: Tupac Amaru, which means "shining serpent" Shakur is Arabic for: "grateful to God." For the first few years of his life, the Shakur family moved between the Bronx and Harlem, sometimes staying in hostels.

In September 1983, when Tupac was 12 years old, Tupac joined the Harlem theater group, and in his first performance, he played Travis in "A Raisin in the sun." after that, the family moved to Baltimore in 1986.

In Baltimore, he began writing his first rap lyrics, where he went by the stage name MC New York. Unfortunately, some would say, he had to move from there to Marin City, CA, in June 1988.

He began associating with the criminal environment and was quickly drawn into it. He started selling drugs and started the road to his death. That same year, his stepfather (Mutulu Shakur) was sentenced to 60 years in prison for his involvement in an armed car robbery.

He started his career as a dancer and rapper in the Digital Underground rap group. In 1991 came his debut album with Digital Underground's "This is an EP release."

November 1991 saw his first solo album, "2Pacalypse Now."

January 1992, he played in the movie "Juice."

In September 1992, Vice President: Dan Quayle said that 2Pacapalypse Now has no place in this community.

On March 10, 1994, Tupac was arrested for beating Allen Hughes after he was dumped for the movie "Menace II Society" and was sentenced to 15 days in jail.

On September 13, 1996, Tupac Shakur died at 4:03 p.m. after a brutal shooting in a car.

The culprits are still at large.
