Cameron Crowe (Cameron Bruce Crowe) was born July 13, 1957, in Palm Springs, California, USA.

He is an American screenwriter and film director. Crowe began his career as a writer, i.a., for the music magazine Rolling Stone, and wrote the screenplay for Amy Heckerling's popular youth film Fast Times at Ridgemont High.
