Deborah Kerr biography


Deborah Kerr, 1921-2007, British actress. After young girl roles in British films, she came to Hollywood in 1947. She played a beautiful heroine with British nobility in adventure and equipment films such as King Solomon's Mines (1950) and The Prisoner of Zenda (1952).

With From Here To Eternity (1953,) she had a breakthrough as a character actor; it was followed up in i.a. The King and I (1956) and The Night of the Iguana (1964).
