Debra Winger biography


 Debra Winger (Mary Debra Winger) was born in 1955. She is an American film actress.

Debra Winger showed her talent for playing very different types in, e.g., Cannery Row (1982) and one of the successful romantic dramas of the 1980s, An Officer and a Gentleman (1982), in collaboration with Richard Gere.

She has since shown her versatile characterization skills, among other things. Terms of Endearment (1983), The Sheltering Sky (1990), and Shadowlands (1993). After a break from acting in the mid-1990s, she has, among other things, seen again in Rachel Getting Married (2008) and the TV series In Treatment (2010).
