Gena Rowlands, born in 1934, American actress.

Among Gena Rowland's most essential roles are intense, neurotically marked portraits in the films of her husband, John Cassavetes, first in Faces (1968), later in i.a. A Woman Under the Influence (1974) and Love Streams (1984).

Gena Rowland's other notable films are Another Woman (1988) and Something to Talk About (1995).
