John Leguizamo (John Alberto Leguizamo Peláez) was born July 22, 1960, Bogotá, Colombia.

He is an American actor, comedian, and film producer. He rose to fame with a starring role in Super Mario Bros. as Luigi and a supporting role in the crime drama Carlito's Way.

He later starred notably in the film To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything!
