Pierce Brosnan (Pierce Brendan Brosnan) was born an Irish actor on May 16, 1953.

Pierce Brosnan showed an early talent for brutal strength behind a coolly elegant facade in The Fourth Protocol (1987). Still, he really broke through when he became the fifth James Bond in GoldenEye (1995), followed by Tomorrow Never Dies (1997), The World Is Not Enough (1999), and Die Another Day (2002).

Pierce Brosnan had the title role in Robinson Crusoe (1996), and with the production company Irish Dream Time was his own producer, among other things. The remake of The Thomas Crown Affair (1999).
