Robert Duvall biography

Robert Duvall, born on January 5, 1931, was an American actor. Robert Duvall made his debut in To Kill a Mockingbird (1962) and played many supporting roles before his subdued strength behind the plain face came into his own as the family counselor in The Godfather (1972) and The Godfather II (1974).

Since then, Robert Duvall has delivered varied and always believable performances in, for example, The Great Santini (1979), Geronimo (1993), Something to Talk About (1995), A Civil Action (1998), and The 6th Day (2000).

Robert Duvall won an Oscar for Tender Mercies (1989) and made his directorial debut with The Apostle (1997).
