Robert Rodriguez (Robert Anthony Rodriguez) was born June 20, 1968, in San Antonio, Texas, USA.

He is an American film director. He made his international breakthrough with the Spanish-language action film The Killer in 1992.

He is best known for From Dusk till Dawn, Sin City, which he co-directed with Frank Miller, Planet Terror, and the children's films Spy Kids.
