Dean Martin biography
Dean Martin (Dino Paul Crocetti) was born June 7, 1917, in Steubenville, Ohio, USA.
He was an American actor, singer, and entertainer. After a series of farces with Jerry Lewis, Martin became the epitome of the relaxed Hollywood comedy star in, for example, Bells Are Ringing (1960) and What a Way to Go! (1964), but he also showed character talent in, e.g., Rio Bravo (1959) and Some Came Running (1959).
On television, he was very successful with The Dean Martin Show (1965-74), where he was rarely seen without a glass of whiskey.
His greatest hits are Memories Are Made of This (1956), and Everybody Loves Somebody (1964).
Died December 25, 1995, in Beverly Hills, California, USA.
