Janet Leigh (Jeanette Helen Morrison) was born on July 6, 1927, in  Merced, California, USA.

She was an American actress, married to Tony Curtis from 1951-1962, and the mother of Jamie Lee Curtis. Janet Leigh began her career as a blonde supporting actress in adventure films such as Scaramouche (1952) and The Black Shield of Falworth (1956).

Still, she is best remembered as the victim in Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960) and for supporting roles in Touch of Evil (1958), Harper (1966), and The Fog (1980).


Died on October 3, 2004.
