John Cusack biography


John Cusack was born on June 28, 1966.

He is an American actor. John Cusack first played awkward youth roles, for example, in Stand By Me (1986), and later got varied character roles, e.g., in The Grifters (1990), Woody Allen's Bullets Over Broadway (1994), City Hall (1996), Clint Eastwood's Southern drama Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil (1997) and Terrence Malick's war film The Thin Red Line (1998).

Cusack also has, among other things, starred in the action film Con Air (1997), the edgy Being John Malkovich (1999), High Fidelity (2000) opposite Iben Hjejle, America's Sweethearts (2001) and The Contract (2006).

Most recently, John Cusack has, among other things, starred in Roland Emmerich's disaster film 2012 (2009) and the exotic crime drama Shanghai (2010).
