Juliette Lewis, born June 21, 1973, is an American actress. After child roles on television, Juliette Lewis had her breakthrough in the TV movie Too Young to Die (1990) and then made a name for herself in Martin Scorsese's drama Cape Fear (1991) and Woody Allen's Husbands and Wives (1992).
Among her other significant achievements, where she is often seen in the role profession as a challenging type on the edge of the law, are, for example, Romeo Is Bleeding (1993) and Kalifornia (1993), Lasse Hallström's What's Eating Gilbert Grape? (1993), Oliver Stone's Natural Born Killers (1994), Kathryn Bigelow's futuristic fable Strange Days (1995), The Other Sister (1999), and Blueberry (2004).
Juliette Lewis has also pursued a music career, where she has released three albums with the rock band Juliette and the Licks. In 2009 she formed a new band, The New Romantics.
