Brigitte Nielsen biography
Brigitte Nielsen was born in Helsingør, Denmark, on July 15, 1963.In 1979 she moved to France & Italy, where she began her modeling career.
In 1984, the Italian producer Dino de Laurentiis contracted her for the film Red Sonja (1985) with Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Brigitte met Sylvester Stallone the following year, and in December 1985, they married.
Meanwhile, she shot 3 other films: Rocky IV (1985), Cobra (1986), and Beverly Hills Cop II (1987), directed by Tony Scott and together with Eddie Murphy, Paul Reiser, and Chris Rock.
In July 1987, Sylvester Stallone and Brigitte Nielsen divorced, and Brigitte recorded an LP called: "Everybody tells a story."
In the '90s, she acted in several movies, such as 976-EVIL 2: The Astral Factor (1991), Fantaghirò II (1992) (TV) and its sequels, Double 0 Kid, The (1993), Chained Heat II (1993), Galaxis (1995) with Sam Raimi, Compelling Evidence (1995), She's Too Tall (1998) with Corey Feldman and George Hamilton and the last, Doomsdayer (1999).
In recent years Brigitte became interested in the music industry, doing a duet with the drag-queen RuPaul, "You're no lady" (2002). She has four children: Julian (b. 1984), Killian (b. 1989), Douglas (b. 1993), and Raoul Jr. (b. 1995).
She lives in Lugano, Switzerland, with her husband and children.
