The main character in the long-running television comedy series The Cosby Show (1984-92). The show's points were clearly inspired by Bill Cosby's university degree in education and his past as a stand-up comedian. It had only colored actors but was also cleansed of racial and political problems. The series provided a humorous depiction of everyday life in an upper-middle-class family with Bill Cosby. In the 2010s, many women accused Bill Cosby of sexual assault in several cases after drugging them. The assaults must have taken place from the mid-1960s onwards.
